Introduction to Muscle Energy Techniques: 01 Hrs
Definitions of MET. Early sources of MET, Postisometric Relaxation and Reciprocal Inhibition, Lewit’s Postisometric relaxation method, Joints and MET,Patterns of function and dysfunction (Vladimir Janda concept of postural and Phasic muscles). Lower and Upper Cross Syndromes, Methods of using MET,Sequence of assessment and treatment of Muscular dysfunctions. MET and joint treatments.

MET for Upper and Lower Quadrant:05Hrs
MET for Gastrocnemius and Soleus, MET for Hamstrings( Semi-membranosus, semi-tendinosus and Biceps Remoris), MET for short adductors( pectineus, adductor brevis, magnus and longus), MET for hip flexors( Iliopsoas and Rectus femoris), MET for Tensor Fascia Lata, MET for Piriformis and Quadratus Lumborum, MET for Pectoralis Major and Minor, MET for latissimus dorsi,MET for upper trapezius, MET for Scalenes( Anterior, Posterior and Medius),MET for Sternocleidomastoid, MET for Levator Scapulae, MET for Infraspinatus, MET for Subscapularis, MET for supraspinatus, MET for Erector Spinae

MET for Pelvic Complex Dysfunctions( Up-slip, Ant-rotation, out-flare and in-flare, posterior rotation), MET for lumbar dysfunction, MET for Cervical dysfunctions, MET for thoracic dysfunctions, MET for acromioclavicular and sternoclavicular dysfunctions, MET for rib dysfunctions, MET for Temporomandibular Joint dysfunctions.  

“HIGH VELOCITY THRUST TECHNIQUES(HVT)” (MARCH 3RD , 2024)

High Velocity Thrust Techniques(Basic Fundamentals): 01 Hr
 Introduction about HVT, Cavitation mechanism, Indications, Contraindications, Hand posture and skills, Contact points of manipulators hand, Flicking Techniques ( Triceps flick, Double triceps flick, Wrist flick), Thrusts(Pectoralis thrust, Shoulder arm pull thrust, Body drop), Concept of somatic dysfunction, Rhythmic Techniques( articulation and springing, Low velocity stress techniques, Modifying factors in techniques.

HVT Techniques for Vertebral Column & Pelvic Complex: 04 Hrs 
 HVT Techniques for Atlanto-Occipital joint C0-C1 (Contact point on Occiput and Atlas), HVT Techniques for Atlanto-Axial joint C1-C2 (Chin hold, Cradle hold), HVT Techniques for Cervical spine C2-C7 (Up-slope gliding, Up-slope gliding with cradle hold, Down-slope gliding with chin-hold, Down-slope gliding with cradle hold ), HVT Techniques for Cervicothoracic spine C7-T3 (Rotation gliding, Side bending gliding), HVT Techniques for Thoracic spine T4-T9 (Extension, Flexion & Rotation gliding), HVT Techniques for Ribs, HVT Techniques for Thoraco-lumbar spine T10-L2, HVT Techniques for Lumbar spine L1-L5, HVT Techniques for Lumbosacral joint L5-S1, HVT Techniques for Sacroiliac joint.

HVT Techniques for Peripheral Joints & Tempromandibular Joint: 03 Hrs 
Staggered hold for Tibia Thrust, Superior Tibio-Fibular joint gapping, Tibio – taloid joint Thrust, Medial border of foot articulation and thrust, Gapping thrust to Sub-talar joint, Cuboid Thrust, Mill’s manipulation, Carpal subluxation manipulation and TMJ Distraction Thrust Techniques.

Credit Hours : 08 Hrs for MET and 08 Hrs for HVT

Timings : 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. 

Eligibility : Physiotherapists / Physiotherapy Students from reputed Institutions. There is no prerequisite in terms of Manual Therapy Experience.          
        
Venue : Nasik ( Exact Address and location of the Venue will be informed to the registered professionals 2 days before the programme)

Fees : Rs.4,500 for Each Programme and Rs.7,500/- for both programmes till January 30th, 2024.
Rs.5,000 for Each Programme and  Rs.8,000/- for both programmes till February 20th, 2024.

Spot Rs.5,500 for Each Programme and Rs.9,000/- for both programmes ( If seats are available)  

International Registrants USD 100 for Each Programme and USD 150 for both programmes.

Discount: Group of 3 participants Rs.300/- and Group of 5 participants Rs.500/- discount provided registrations processed together.
